Great placements start with great nannies.
Joining our roster is always free. We take the time to learn what you're looking for before making introductions, connecting you with families who are the right fit for your schedule, experience, and goals.

Here's what you can expect after submitting your application.
Apply to Our Roster
Complete your application and tell us about your experience, availability, and what you're looking for.
Consultation & Matching
We'll schedule an intro conversation then finalize the 6-Point Standard. Next, we'll begin the behind-the-scenes work of matching you with families whose needs, schedules, and values align with yours.
The Right Match
When we find one, we'll make the introduction and guide everyone through next steps with the goal of creating a placement built to last.
Join our roster.
Tell us about your experience, what you're looking for, and the kind of family where you'll do your best work.
Joining is always free. Every application is personally reviewed before we reach out.
Have questions?
Answers to the things nannies ask most often.
-
No. Joining the NWNC roster is always free for nannies. Families pay placement fees to NWNC. We never charge nannies, never take a percentage of your wages, and never deduct anything from what families pay you.
-
When a family completes an intake, we review your profile alongside others in our roster and select 2–3 nannies who best fit the family's needs.
We introduce you with context about why we believe you're a great fit. If the family is interested, we'll reach out and you decide whether you'd like to meet them.
No automated blasts. No profile-in-a-database energy.
-
We work with families looking for newborn care through school-age children. During your application, you'll tell us which ages you're most comfortable caring for.
-
Not at all. We place full-time, part-time, temporary, summer, after-school, and nanny share positions. We'll ask about your availability and only introduce you to families whose needs align with your schedule.
-
Yes. Many nannies join our roster before they're actively looking for a new position. We'll only reach out when a family aligns with your goals and availability.
-
If you already have current CPR and First Aid certification, you're ready to apply.
If you don't but you're willing to become certified before your first placement apply anyway. We're happy to point you toward local certification options.
-
Employment agreements are made directly between you and the family.
We'll always ask about your employment preferences during the application process and consider them throughout the matching process.
-
We're always happy to be a resource.
If you're looking for additional hours, a secondary placement, or it's time to find your next family, we'll schedule a quick update consultation and reactivate you in our roster.
-
Every placement is different.
Once you're on the roster, you'll be considered for every family that's a good fit for your experience, schedule, and preferences. Some nannies match within a week, while others take a few months.
We'll never encourage you to accept a family just to "make a match."
-
Absolutely. Every introduction is simply an introduction. If a family isn't the right fit, there's no obligation to move forward. Our goal is to help create matches that feel right for both sides.
